]]>Ryan Murphy is throwing it back to 1984 and paying homage to all those ’80s horror movies including A Nightmare on Elm Street, Children of the Corn and Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter.
The creator of the acclaimed horror franchise revealed the name of the next installment of AHS on Wednesday. Muphy’s Instagram post featured a short video of a teenage girl fleeing a big man with an even bigger knife chasing her in true ‘80s slasher films fashion.
Confirmed to return for Season 9 is Emma Roberts. She’ll star opposite Olympian Gus Kenworthy, as his on-screen on the run from slasher guy couple. Evan Peters recently announced that he won’t be back for season 9. Sarah Paulson has yet to give details about her involvement, but we think it’s safe to assume she’s on board.

]]>The Fantastic Beasts and Into the Badlands stars have just landed roles on season nine of The Walking Dead.
While Fogler’s role has yet to be confirmed, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that Matsuura will play Yumiko, a survivor of the zombie apocalypse who is part of a group that encounters the Alexandria Safe-Zone some years after All-Out War.
The duo’s casting follows the casting of Tony nominee Lauren Ridloff, who’s set to play Connie, “a seasoned survivor deft at using her senses to read people, situations, and trouble.” Conies as Ridloff herself “is deaf and uses American Sign Language (ASL) to communicate.”
Season nine will see the departure of two series regulars: Lauren Cohan and Andrew Lincoln.
