]]>Stan Lee was a real-life superhero to comic book lovers around the world and co-created some of the most iconic characters whose adventures we’re following to this day. Spider-Man, Iron Man, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four come to mind, but the list is pretty much endless. He made a cameo in each of Marvel movies, and waiting for his brief appearance was one of the essential parts of the watching experience.
Many Hollywood stars paid heartfelt tribute to Stan Lee after learning he passed away, including Chris Evans, who portrayed Captain America in several Marvel movies over the course of the last few years.
“There will never be another Stan Lee. For decades he provided both young and old with adventure, escape, comfort, confidence, inspiration, strength, friendship and joy. He exuded love and kindness and will leave an indelible mark on so, so, so many lives. Excelsior!” wrote Evans.

Disney chairman and CEO Bob Iger also bid farewell to late legend and said he was as extraordinary as the characters he created.
“A superhero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world, Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain and to connect. The scale of his imagination was only exceeded by the size of his heart,” stated Iger.
Thanks for everything Stan Lee! What a life, so well lived. I consider myself extraordinarily lucky to have gotten to meet you and to have played in the world you created.

]]>The 38-year-old actress shared the photo on Twitter as part of a tribute post to late legendary comic book artist Jack Kirby, on his 100th birthday.
“I am honoured to be on set today playing #TheWasp on what would be Jack Kirby’s 100th birthday. #ThankYouJackKirby #AntManAndTheWasp,” Lilly wrote.
Kirby and Stan Lee created the character of Janet van Dyne, who was the original Wasp in the early 1960’s. Lilly plays Hope van Dyne, Janet’s daughter with Hank Pym (Michael Douglas). Pym was the original Ant-Man before retiring, and later training Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) as his replacement in Ant-Man, according to ET.
Marvel Studios announced that Michelle Pfeiffer will play the role of Pym’s long-lost wife Janet van Dyne during the San Diego Comic-Con last month.
The sequel also stars Walton Goggins, Hannah John-Kamen, Laurence Fishburne as Dr. Bill Foster and Randall Park as Jimmy Woo. Directed by Peyton Reed, the superhero movie flies into theatres on July 6, 2018, Deadline reports.
