Aziz Ansari Right Now is based on Ansari’s worldwide comedy tour Road to Nowhere. The special that was a filmed set from the Brooklyn Academy of Music tour dates in New York will be directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker Spike Jonze.
Ansari’s Road to Nowhere tour sold out in 75 cities in the US and 12 countries abroad including Mumbai, Sydney, London, and Paris.
A breakout star on NBC’s Parks and Recreations, Ansari has won two Emmys and a Golden Globe for Best Actor – Television Series Musical or Comedy for his series Master of None.
