That ‘90s Show will see Kitty and Red Forman (Debra Jo Rupp and Kurtwood Smith) welcome a new generation of teenagers into their basement when their granddaughter Leia (Callie Haverda) decides to spend her summer in Wisconsin.

The first teaser trailer sees Leia arriving at Point Place to visit her grandparents and strike up a friendship with a group of teens in her parents’ hometown. The new trailer takes things one step further and brings back the original cast, including Topher Grace, Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Laura Prepon, and Wilmer Valderrama.

The new trailer also gives us a closer look at the show’s young cast, including dynamic and rebellious Gwen (Ashley Aufderheide), her brother Nate (Maxwell Donovan), his smart girlfriend Nikki (Sam Morelos), the sarcastic and insightful Ozzie (Reyn Doi), and the charming Jay Kelso, Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart’s son.

That ’90s Show will premiere on Netflix on January 19, 2023 and it will feature ten episodes.

The new series will see “legacy cast making special guest appearances”. Topher Grace (Eric Forman), Mila Kunis (Jackie Burkhart), Ashton Kutcher (Michael Kelso), Laura Prepon (Donna Pinciotti), and Wilmer Valderrama (Fez) will return without Danny Masterson (Steven Hyde).

That ’90s Show will center on Leia Forman, the daughter of Eric Forman and Donna Pinciotti, as she spends the summer of 1995 with her grandparents Red and Kitty Foreman, and forms bonds with teens living in her parents’ hometown Point Place, Wisconsin.

Kurtwood Smith and Debra Jo Rupp will return as Red and Kitty Foreman, while the young cast will include Callie Haverda, Ashley Aufderheide, Mace Coronel, Maxwell Acee Donovan, Reyn Doi, and Sam Morelos.

That ’70s Show originally premiered on Fox between 1998 and 2006 and followed the trials and tribulations of a group of teens growing up in Point Place during the ‘70s. The series went on to become a cult classic and a spinoff was greenlit after the show’s renewed popularity on Netflix.

This year marks the show’s 20th Anniversary. Kunis spoke with ET’s Nischelle Turner during the Lionsgate presentation at CinemaCon 2018 at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Thursday, about the possibility of a revival. 

While Kunis didn’t rule anything out, she did say that chronologically there might be an issue, given the show’s time setting. 

“You know, maybe? I can’t say ‘no,’ because we’re all still very good friends, but we’re all in such different places in our life,” she said. “We’re not as interesting as Roseanne. Nobody wants to see us back together,” Kunis said, “[And] it’d be like [in the] 1990’s.”

The 34-year-old actress also added that it would be kind of weird playing, again, the on-screen girlfriend of her now real-life husband.

Kunis also told ET that she can’t believe how long it’s been since the show first aired. “I have 16-year-olds being like, ‘I love your show!’ And I do the math and I’m like, ‘Oh, that’s weird, ‘cause you weren’t born,’” Kunis said. “It made me feel really old, I won’t lie. I’m like, ‘Oh, I’m not as young as I once was.’”

Kutcher and Kunis welcomed their son Dimitri into the world late last year. Born on November 30, Dimitri is the couple’s second child, a brother to big sister Wyatt Isabelle, born in October 2014. The couple married in July 2015.

Kutcher took to Instagram and posted a picture of Dimitri wearing a That 70s Show T-shirt. As both Kunis and Kutcher starred on the show, it’s no surprise that that’s the T Dimitri was rocking.

The shirt featured a picture of Kutcher as Michael Kelso and Kunis as Jakie Burkhart along with the phrase “Hello Wisconsin”—a greeting that’s yelled during the show’s opening theme song.

To the adorable pic, Kutcher added the caption, “Yes,this Is my son’s outfit today. #that70sshow” alongside a sweet hashtag “#kelsoandjackieforever.”
