The actress said she was in her first trimester of pregnancy while filming the hit series, describing it as her “least favorite phase.”

“You just feel horrible. You just feel rotten and you’re not allowed to say why,” she told the host. “I was filming quite a lot and just inadvertently falling asleep all the time. It was just embarrassing.”

Danes shared one particular incident on set, where she was embarrassed after falling asleep on a crocheted bag that was given to her.

“She crocheted this amazing bag for me, which was so lovely,” the 39-year-old explained. “But I just face planted on to the bag, this crocheted bag, in between takes… And it was time for my close up, and they’re like, ‘Claire, Claire, you got to go act.’ And I sit up, and I have this, like, crocheted indentation all on the side of my face. It looked like I had third degree burns. They were massaging my face. They had to get out the blow dryer. I halted production for a good half an hour. I felt like an idiot,” she continued.

Currently the actress is in her second trimester, which she describes as “cruisy.”

“It gets a little excited when I have a chocolate bar. It’s moving and kicking,” she said of her second child. “I love that part. It’s like a fireworks show every so often. It’s really cool and a little creepy. It is, it’s like an alien being in there, cohabitating, yeah, AirBNB.”

Emmy award-winning Danes and husband Hugh Dancy are already parents to 5-year-old son Cyrus. Earlier in the day, she revealed her second pregnancy on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show.

Host Jimmy Fallon and guest Will Smith both showed off their vocal capabilities and knowledge of TV, singing a medley of theme songs.

The mash-up of TV sitcom theme songs started out in the with The Andy Griffith Show theme song and singing the I Dream of Jeannie opener. The talented duo went on to sing and rap the themes of Golden Girls, The Jeffersons, Dave’s World, Good Times, Full House, and Three’s Company. 

The highlight of the TV theme songs remix was when Smith busted out into the rap from his hit ‘90s show The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

On Monday, Fallon had Paul Rudd on the show as his first celebrity guest. Before Rudd came on the show, Fallon talked about the highlights of the week including some memorable moments of the Winter Olympics and The 2018 NBA All-Star Game.

Fallon explained that “[Yesterday was] day 11 of the Winter Olympics, but it [was] day 12 of Fergie’s National Anthem,” referencing to Fergie’s sexy and sultry cover of the American National Anthem. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fallon also made fun of German figure skater Paul Fence, who skated to music from the popular television series Game of Thrones.

Afterwards, Fallon introduced “the first ever The Tonight Show’s one minute interview” with Paul Rudd. Rudd went on the show to promote his new film, Mute (2018) which premieres on Netflix on February 23rd, 2018. The five-minute segment ended with Fallon and Rudd singing “Shout” by The Isley Brothers.

Jimmy addressed his late mother as “the best audience” in a moving speech:

“As some of you know, my mother Gloria passed away recently and I canceled our shows last week to be with my family and make arrangements. She was the best audience. She was the one I was always trying to make laugh and she was such a fan of the show, and everything I did,” Jimmy shared. “When we were little, my mom would walk us to the store, me and my sister, and we would hold hands and she would squeeze my hand three times to say I love you and I would squeeze I love you too.”

“Last week, I was in the hospital and I grabbed her hand and I squeezed I love you and I just knew we were in trouble, you know?,” he continued.
