Don’t worry U2 fans, Bono Vox will continue to set the stages on fire. The 58-year-old singer recently gave an encouraging update about his health status after losing his voice during a recent U2 concert in Berlin. According to Bono, his vocal problems are not severe and he will be back to “full voice” for the rest of the band’s Experience & Innocence tour.

“I’ve seen a great doctor and with his care, I’ll be back to full voice for the rest of the tour. So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out,” Bono said in a statement posted on the official U2 website. “My relief is tempered by the knowledge that the Berlin audience were so inconvenienced. There was an amazing atmosphere in the house, it was going to be one of those unforgettable nights but not for this reason… We can’t wait to get back there on November 13th.”

U2 managed to perform a 20-minute set in Berlin at Mercedes-Benz Arena on Saturday before their frontman started experiencing vocal struggle during “Red Flag Day.”

Bono speculated that the stage smoke machines were the problem saying: “I can promise you I have not been smoking. But this is like a giant cigar. I’ve lost my voice, and I don’t know what to do…it was singing like a bird about 10 minutes ago.” After turning them off didn’t help, the band decided to cancel the show altogether.

U2 have one more live show in Germany on September 4th in Cologne, before heading to Denmark, Portugal, UK, and Ireland where the 2018 leg of the tour will wrap up.
