Keith Cox, president of development and production for Paramount Network and TV Land, broke the news in an official statement and said he’s looking forward to seeing what the creative team behind this show comes up with in the future.

“Season after season, Younger has continued to reach new heights and build an incredibly loyal fan base. We love this talented and amazing cast and can’t wait to see what Darren has in store for season seven,” said Cox.

Younger follows the adventures of a single mom, who starts lying about her age to land her dream job and completely reinvent her life, after being mistaken for younger than she really is. It stars Sutton Foster, with Hilary Duff, Debi Mazar and Miriam Shor in supporting roles.

The Miseducation of Henry Cane will follow in the footsteps of Marriage Vacation and will hit shelved IRL next month thanks to Simon & Schuster.

The novel, which is set to hit shelves next month is penned by one of the series’ characters — an identity that will be revealed in an upcoming episode. 

It is described as an “unputdownable coming-of-age novel” that follows a college graduate who spends the summer in a seaside town with friends before returning to the city to begin the prestigious career that awaits him.

The two, who are no strangers to social media, took to Instagram to share with their fans that they had tied the knot on Saturday in a courthouse wedding.

Both shared snaps and videos of their special day, looking very much in love. The duo also shared how they made the day their own, writing a piece for the LGBTQ publication, them. 

“The wedding day. No guests. No flowers. No rings. My “dress,” consisting of trousers. His “tux,” gown inclusive. I suppose you would dub our wedding color white. It was certainly the most traditional thing we did.”

The two spoke of their choice of attire, writing that they opted for “genderbending ensembles” because in their relationship they “both wear the pants and the dress.” “Here we are, the day I dreamed of yet not the day I imagined, and I couldn’t be happier” Bethany added.

The idea of a wedding was “tossed around” but was solidified after the two took a trip to the Amazon jungle in December.

“Out in the rainforest with no internet, no indoor plumbing, no society, just the heavens and the spirit of the universe, we connected at our deepest level. We saw each other in past lives and future lives and the visions of the good we were brought here to do in our current lives. And we were meant to do it together. On our first day back in society, Nico looked at me over dinner and asked if we should marry on March 9. I said, ‘finally.’ And just like that, we were ‘engaged.’”

Fiction is becoming a reality with Younger’s fictional novel Marriage Vacation is being made into a real-life novel.

The novel is written by the character Pauline Turner Brooks, played by Jennifer Westfeldt on the show. The book will be published by Simon & Schuster.

Pauline’s novel chronicles her life with now ex-husband and Empirical Press boss Charles, played by Peter Hermann. On season Liza (Sutton Foster) Charlie’s love interest gets the opportunity to edit the novel. Things soon get awkward as it seems that Charles and Pauline might rekindle their romance, Liza reading not so flattering stories about her possible-beau and Pauline thinking of Liza as friend and confident.

Now a published version of Marriage Vacation is going to hit the real-life shelves. The standalone novel will tell the story of a woman who leaves her marriage to go on a journey of self-discovery.

Season 5 of Younger is in production now.
