Taylor Swift ‘Busy Working’ on New Album in Nashville

Taylor Swift has been out in the public eye in recent months, rarely sharing social media posts and avoiding public events. Her last public appearance was on Feb. 4 when she performed in pre-Super Bowl concert in Houston, Texas.

Her strangely low profile has led many fans to wonder what she’s been up to. Fans need not worry because according to ET’s source, the “Shake It Off” singer “has been busy working on her upcoming album.”

Swift has been figuring out what the sound and feel of her new music material, whether to continue in pop genre that rocketed her last album to record-breaking success or to return to her beloved country roots, ET reports. It also notes that her next album is expected to be released by end of the year.

The 27-year-old pop star has stayed off the radar while working on her music. Swift has only posted to Instagram once in the last two months to promote the latest single of her friend Lorde, “Green Light.”

ET’s source reveals that while keeping out of the spotlight, Swift has been staying closer to home, spending time in Nashville, Tennessee, where the singer was recently seen driving around last week.

“She comes here to get away from the paparazzi,” an eyewitness told to ET.

Swift’s long absence is not really a surprise since she was honest with her decision to not tour or perform throughout 2017 during DirectTV Now Super Saturday Night pre-Super Bowl concert in February.

“By coming to this show tonight, you are attending 100 percent of this year’s tour dates,” she told the crowd.
