Sometimes the rumors are true!
Taylor Swift confirms that the child’s voice features in her song titled “Gorgeous” is the voice of James Reynolds – the daughter of Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.
The track, which is off her 6th studio album reputation, features a child’s voice saying the word “gorgeous” in the intro. Speculations that Blake and Ryan’s eldest daughter’s voice was used were fueled when both Lively and Reynolds “liked” the song preview which was by Swift on Instagram.
A Swift fan offered more insight after attending a Secret session writing on Twitter: “Taylor was with Blake and Ryan at the beach and was playing gorgeous for them on her guitar, and then their daughter, James, kept saying ‘gorgeous’ over and over.. so Taylor was like, ‘could i use that?’ and the intro was born.”
However, confirmation finally came when Swift released her album, writing in the liner notes that the “baby voice intro” belonged to James.
Reputation, was released on November 10.
