Taylor Swift’s Reputation tops Billboard 200 for second week

Reputation is giving Taylor Swift a good run, already being the best-selling album of 2017 and continues to secure its place atop.

The singer remains at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the second week in a row, as Reputation added to its sales an additional 256,000 copies in its second week. This makes Swift the first woman since Adele in January 2016 to spend two consecutive weeks at number one.

The album, even after being withheld from streaming services, became 2017’s best selling album after going platinum, thanks to selling 1.2 million copies during opening week.

Reputation is Swift’s sixth studio album and her fifth record to hit No. 1 in its first week of sales. Looks like Reputation should hold onto number one for a third straight week, especially after the singer announced stadium tour, hitting the road for the first time in two years.
