It’s a pilot party at the CW!

The CW has officially put in four pilot orders —  two spin-off series for Jane the Virgin and Riverdale as well as a Nancy Drew drama and a The Lost Boys reboot.

News of a Jane the Virgin spin-off was confirmed by actress Gina Rodriguez who stars as Jane Villanueva in the original series. Villanueva took to Instagram Wednesday to announce that the network has officially given the green light to a new series, Jane the Novela.”We got good news from the CW! Jane will be birthing a SPIN OFF!!!!! Jane The Novelas!!!” she wrote.

The series will be penned by original series writer Valentina Garza, who will also executive-produce. Rodriguez will also exec-produce.

The Riverdale spin-off titled Katy Keene, will follow the lives and loves of four iconic Archie Comics characters, including fashion legend-to-be Katy Keene, as they chase their dreams in NYC.

The musical dramedy comes from writers Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and Michael Grassi. Grassi told Deadline last summer that the new offshoot will be “very different from Riverdale.”
