A slew of trailers dropped during Super Bowl 2019, including a first teaser trailer for Hulu’s highly anticipated third season of The Handmaid’s Tale.
The teaser begins with Moss looking out a window. “It’s morning again in America,” a narrator says. “Today, more women will go to work than ever before in our country’s history. This year, dozens of children will be born to happy and healthy families.” But then June aka Offred (Elisabeth Moss) voice takes over and she says, “Wake up, America,
The eerie trailer hints that life after June returns to Gilead to retrieve her daughter Hannah (Jordana Blake) will be more dangerous than ever. Earlier in the week, footage released by the streaming service also featured June in the pale blue garb for “Marthas,” which could mean she’s joined their network.
Hulu has yet to confirm the debut of the upcoming season, but if the first two seasons are an indication, than expect season three of The Handmaid’s Tale to arrive sometime this spring.
