The trailer for Season 2 of The Mandalorian has been released and the bounty hunter and Baby Yoda are on a road trip.
Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian is on a mission to return The Child, a.k.a. Baby Yoda, to his home planet.
The trailer picks up where Season 1 ended with The Mandalorian and The Child continuing their journey and trying to stay safe from the Imperial Remnant officer Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito). The pair arrive on a snowy planet before traveling by sea.
A voice-over tells the Mandalorian to return The Child to the Jedi outcasts and the Mandalorian then asks, “you expect me to search the galaxy and return this creature to a race of enemy sorcerers?”
Plot details for the second season haven’t been revealed, but the cast for Season 2 includes Season 1 cast members Pedro Pascal, Gina Carano, Carl Weathers, and Giancarlo Esposito. Joining Season 2 are Timothy Olyphant, Rosario Dawson as Clone Wars character Ahsoka Tano, and Temuera Morrison as Boba Fett.
A third season of The Mandalorian is already in the works.
