Only several days after they announced the pregnancy, Lauren Akins and Thomas Rhett already know the sex of their baby – they will be getting a girl!
Like previously, they chose Instagram as their news channel. They shared a photo and a video from a family celebration. They gathered the family and cut open a cake which could be either blue or pink inside. It turned out to be pink!
Along with getting their own biological baby, the couple will also adopt a child from Africa. Last week’s social media announcement read:
“We are so happy to announce that we are pregnant and we are in the process of adopting a child from Africa! Safe to say life is about to get crazy!”
