Tiffany Haddish has got nothing to apologize for.
The Night School actress has made a name for herself as being loud, funny, and risqué since coming to audiences’ full attention in 2017 during Girl’s Trip.
The 38-year-old as honored on Friday at the Variety Power of Women event where she said, “I feel like it’s very important to always be your best self and be yourself, and try not to be something you’re not.”
“Because,” she continued. “That’s when you become a bitter-ass bitch, when you being somebody you not.”
The comedian was also named as one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People in the World this year.
“Sorry I’m so honest, but I’m not sorry,” Tiffany said whilst accepting her honor.
