Funny girl Tiffany Haddish has landed her next movie gig.
Variety reports that the comedienne will star as the voice of one the lead characters in the second installment of The Lego Movie franchise.
The script for the sequel was first penned by Lord and Miller; Raphael Bob-Waksberg joined the project to do the re-write, with the latest draft written by Matt Fogel.
Mike Mitchell (Trolls) is on board as director. Serving as executive producers are Chris McKay and Jinko Gotoh.
The Lego Movie grossed nearly $470 million worldwide in 2014.
The Lego Movie 2 is set to debut in February 2019.
