After finding the biggest success of their careers with Call Me By Your Name, Timothée Chalamet and Luca Guadagnino are back at it again! They joined forces for the upcoming cannibal romance movie Bones and All and gave us a taste of things to come in a short teaser trailer.

Based on Camille DeAngelis’s novel of the same name, Bones and All centers on two young people embarking on a long odyssey across Reagan’s America. Chalamet plays an intense drifter Lee, while Taylor Russell takes on the role of a young woman living on the margins of society named Maren.

In an official statement discussing this project, Guadagnino said he’s always been drawn toward and touched by people living on the margins of society, and Bones and All allowed him to dive into their emotional state.

“I love these characters. The heart of the movie is tender and affectionate towards them. I’m interested in their emotional journeys. I want to see where the possibilities lie for them, enmeshed within the impossibility they face,” the acclaimed director explained.

The supporting cast of Bones and All includes Michael Stuhlbarg, André Holland, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon-Green, Jessica Harper, and Mark Rylance. This project will hit the theatres on November 23, following its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival this September.
