Venom franchise will continue with the highly-anticipated third installment, and the production is officially underway! The film’s leading man Tom Hardy took to social media to reveal that he started shooting this project following the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike.

Tom Hardy posed for a photo alongside his stunt double Jacob Tomuri and director Kelly Marcel behind the scenes, revealing they’re back to shooting Venom 3.

“Thankfully we are back to shooting; and I want to take a moment just to thank all the teams thus far on the ride from V1 to here all our fantastic Cast and crew – good friends and family – we’ve come a long way,” wrote Hardy on Instagram.

He added that it doesn’t get any better than working with talented and passionate people that you care about, and took a moment to praise his director Kelly Marcel. She’s making her directorial feature debut with Venom 3 after co-writing the previous two films in the franchise, and Hardy said he absolutely loves working with her and watching her take on bigger challenges every time.

Venom 3 will be released by Sony Pictures on November 8, 2024. Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor have previously been cast in undisclosed roles alongside Hardy.
