According to Hollywood Reporter, Tom Hardy is in final negotiations to play the title character, and Ruben Fleischer is also in the final round of negotiations for the directing part.
Venom, as all superhero fans know, is a villain from Spiderman franchise. The project is currently one of Sony’s top priorities and is set to premiere on October 5, 2018.
