Tom Holland Reveals Next “Spider-Man” Movie Is Called “Far From Home”

We got a title!

Tom Holland took to social media and revealed the title of the 2019 Spiderman sequel. Sharing a video of himself on Instagram from the Ace Comic Con in Seattle on Saturday, giving fans an update that he just got the script for the upcoming movie. Holding the script up on an iPad, he revealed the title — Spider-Man: Far From Home.

According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, filming will begin in July in London. Very much like the title indicates, Peter Parker/Spider-Man will spend some time out of New York. 

While not much else is known about the sequel as no special announcements were made, The Verge reports are that actor Jake Gyllenhaal is reportedly in talks for the role of supervillain Mysterio.

Returning as director is Jon Watts, from a script penned by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.

Fans are sure eager to know how Spiderman will return to the world of the living after the end of Avengers: Infinity War.
