Travis Scott to Perform at the 2019 Super Bowl

The 2019 Super Bowl halftime show will also feature Travis Scott.

Months after Maroon 5 was announced as the band that will headline the Super Bowl halftime show, multiple outlets confirm that the 26-year-old rapper will join them on stage.

And according to Entertainment Tonight, this isn’t all of it as more performers will be added to the mix.

The upcoming Super Bowl halftime show has already known its fair share of controversy with sources reporting that Rhianna turned down the high-profile gig in support of quarterback Colin Kaepernick.

“Rihanna was the front-runner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show,” a source told the outlet in October. “CBS and the NFL reached out to Rihanna first, who, after thinking about the offer, decided to pass due to the NFL and the situation regarding players kneeling.”

The gig is another huge achievement for Scott who had an amazing year with a No. 1 album Astroworld and a hugely successful tour.
