Uma Thurman has been tapped to star in Netflix’s new supernatural drama, Chambers.
Deadline confirms that the 48-year-old actress has landed a starring role playing Nancy, mother of a heart donor who gets into a relationship with the recipient only to find out her daughter may not be as dead as she thought. The young heart attack survivor becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. But uncovering the truth of her donor’s sudden death also includes taking on the characteristics of the deceased.
The new hourlong drama was created and written by Stephen Gaghan and Super Deluxe. The series landed a 10-episode straight-to-series order by the streaming giant in January.
Best known for Pulp Fiction and Kill Bill franchise, Thurman’s TV credits include Hysterical Blindness, Smash, Imposters, and The Slap.
