“Once Upon a Time” Star Ginnifer Goodwin to Star in ABC Pilot “Steps”

Once Upon a Time alum Ginnifer Goodwin has already booked her next TV gig.

After portraying Snow White for six seasons, Goodwin will return to ABC to star in a new comedy series titled Steps, landing the role of the female lead.

Steps is based on the Swedish format Bonus Family and tells the story of four adults in three different houses who raise three kids after two divorces, and they do all of that all together. Goodwin will play the role of Bea, a modern-day hippie who’s also a parent coach handling three kids with her new husband Paul, her ex-husband and his ex-wife.

Penning the script is Kristin Newman, who also serves as executive producer alongside David Hoberman, Todd Lieberman, and Laurie Zaks. Todd Holland will direct the pilot.

It seems like it’s pilots all around for Once Upon a Time alums as her real-life husband Josh Dallas will star in NBC drama Manifest, while Rebecca Mader has signed on for NBC comedy Like Family.
