Robert Kirkman, creator of The Walking Dead, has signed an overall deal with Amazon while his company Skybound Entertainment has just confirmed a first-look deal with the streamer, as Variety reports.
This means that the future TV projects developed by Kirkman and Skybound will debut exclusively on Prime Video. Sharon Tal Yguado, head of event series for Amazon Studios, shared:
“Robert is a gifted storyteller who shares our passion for elevated genre storytelling that pushes boundaries. Robert and the team at Skybound are some of the most innovative and fearless creatives in the business. Together, we plan to explore immersive worlds and bold ideas for Prime Video.”
