As Comic Book reports, stuntman John Bernecker has died after a tragic accident on The Walking Dead Season 8 set.
Though Bernecker was an experienced stuntman, he couldn’t escape the incident on the set in Georgia. He fell more than 20 feet onto a concrete floor and was rushed to the hospital where he received intensive care. However, the head injuries he has suffered soon lead to death.
Bernecker has had quite a big resume – he worked on Rampage, Black PAnther, Escape Plan 2: Hades, and more than 90 other projects over eight years.
The Walking Dead, AMC’s show based on a comic series that chronicles the lives of people fighting to survive a zombie apocalypse, is filming its eighth season.
