Whether we thought it is a sure thing or not, a sequel to Wonder Woman have been confirmed during the Warner Bros. panel at the San Diego Comin-Con.
Fans can watch Gal Gadot in the upcoming DC and Warner Bros. climatic superhero film Justice League, that will be released on November 17. This film will feature an ensemble cast as Batman and Wonder Woman assemble a team of superheroes introduced by DC and Warner Bros. over recent years.
While it is still unknown if director Patty Jenkins will direct the sequel, Wonder Woman 2 is expected to be another period piece, however set in a different time.
With highest-ever ratings on Rotten Tomatoes, Wonder Woman beat Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 as the highest grossing movie of the summer.
