After announcing the series back in November with a video on Instagram, the first teaser trailer for Rhythm + Flow is finally here.
The clip of Netflix’s first-ever music competition was unveiled during Cardi B’s set at the 2019 Made in America festival in Philadelphia Saturday night.
According to the official description, the music competition show “brings together industry legends across a multi-city search in hip hop epicenters Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, and Chicago to find raw talent and help undiscovered artists pursue their come up.”
Premiering October 9, the show’s 10 episodes will roll out over a period of three weeks with episodes dropping every Wednesday.
Back in November, Cardi B spoke with Entertainment Tonight, saying “I think what sets it [Rhythm + Flow] apart is, we’re actually looking for rap artists, you know what I’m saying? We’re actually looking for hip-hop artists. Like, people do, like, music, talent, all these dancing things, we’re looking for rap artists, hip-hop artists. I’m looking for the next Cardi B.”
