Netflix has released the first trailer for After Life season two.
The official teaser trailer features local reporter Tony, played by Ricky Gervais, exploring what comes next, that is what comes after his journey to find strength after dealing with his wife’s death in season one. As Tony continues to grieve for his late wife, he now faces a new problem: his local paper The Tambury Gazette is at risk of closure.
The original Netflix series was created, written, and directed by Gervais.

It’s been truly heart-warming to see how the show has resonated with so many viewers on an emotional level. I can’t wait for everyone to see season two where hope is everything.”
Season two of After Life hits the streaming platform on April 24.
