The novella In the Tall Grass by Stephen King and his son, Joe Hill, is adapted to the screen, and we finally get a first look of the horror feature.
The first official trailer for Netflix’s adaptation of In the Tall Grass is here and let us tell you — the grass has never been so eerie.
Based on the novella originally published in two parts in Esquire magazine in 2012, the film follows inseparable siblings Becky and Cal who get lost in a massive field of grass after they hear the cries of a young boy lost. While the two venture in to rescue him, they find themselves quickly disoriented and separated by a sinister force.
Vincenzo Natali directed the film from his own script. It stars Harrison Gilbertson, Laysla De Oliveira, Avery Whitted, Will Buie Jr., Rachel Wilson, and Patrick Wilson.
In the Tall Grass drops October 4 on Netflix.
