Netflix has unveiled the first look at its forthcoming animated feature The Willoughbys.
The streaming service has a new animated film en route based on Lois Lowery’s classic children’s book.
The CG animated adaptation of The Willoughbys features the voices of Will Forte, Maya Rudolph, Alessia Cara, Terry Crews, Martin Short, Jane Krakowski, Séan Cullen, and Ricky Gervais and the narrator.
The film helmed and penned by Kris Pearn (Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2) follows the four Willoughby children who are convinced they will be better off raising themselves. The quartet hatches a plan to send their parents on vacation. With the help of an eccentric nanny, the siblings embark on their adventure to find the true meaning of family.
The Willoughbys will debut on the streamer April 22.
