We are too excited!
It appears that all six cast members of Friends are in talks to join a reunion special, set to take place at HBO Max.
However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, who was first to report the news, the project is far from being a done deal.
The news comes after months of speculations with the most recent member of the cast, Jennifer Aniston, saying she’s up for it.
In June, Aniston told Ellen DeGeneres that the gang was all up for a reunion. “I would do it,” she said. “The girls would do it, and the boys would do it, I’m sure. Listen, anything can happen.”
HBO Max and producers WBTV did not comment.
The original show ran for 10 seasons, from 1994 to 2004, at NBC and continued gaining popularity with young audiences with its success in syndication and Netflix. In 2021, the show will move to HBO Max.
