“Westworld” Renewed for Season 4

HBO is keeping one of its key scripted originals in its lineup. 

Multiple outlets report that the premium cabler has picked up Westworld for a fourth season. News of the renewal of the sci-fi drama comes ahead of the conclusion of season 3, which debuted March 15. 

HBO programming president Casey Bloys said in a statement, “From the Western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”

A release date and episode count have yet to be announced.
