Wilson Bethel Joins Legal Drama Pilot “Courthouse”

CBS’s new legal drama, Courthouse, casts Wilson Bethel as roguish Deputy District Attorney Mark. He joins the previously announced series regular Jessica Camacho.

The upcoming new series follows the dedicated, chaotic, hopeful, and sometimes absurd lives of the judges, assistant district attorneys, and public defenders as they work with bailiffs, clerks, cops and jurors to bring justice to the people of Los Angeles.

Mark (Bethel), who has never been great with boundaries, struggles with the personal and professional when his best friend and colleague has been just been appointed a judge.

The pilot will be directed by Mike Robin from a script penned by Greg Spottiswood. Spottiswood will also executive produce. Len Goldstein and Robin also exec produce and Warner Bros. TV is the studio.

Bethel’s other credits include the CW’s Heart of Dixie and ABC’s The Astronaut Wives Club.
