The “World War Z” Sequel is A-Go!

We haven’t seen the last world war.

That is according to producers of World War Z.

The zombie disaster film starring Brad Pitt, Matthew Fox, and Peter Capaldi came out in 2013 and earned $540 million worldwide.

A sequel has been in the pipeline for the last 5 years, but now producers Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner say production is a-go!

The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star is expected to reprise his role as the film’s lead, while The Social Network director, David Fincher, will helm the flick.

“We’re starting to shoot in June,” Gardner confirmed. “What more do you need to know? Brad Pitt is Gerry Lane. He’s back. David Fincher is directing.”

Brad Kelly, who worked with Fincher previously on Utopia, is scheduled to write the screenplay.

Those zombies best be prepared.
