“Young Sheldon” Actors Will Appear on “The Big Bang Theory”

Get ready for a major space-time continuum disruption.

The Big Bang character will meet Young Sheldon in a time-jumping crossover.

The CBS comedy, which is in its final season, will feature a crossover with three of the spinoff’s stars making cameos as their characters. According to Entertainment Weekly, during a December episode of The Big Bang TheoryYoung Sheldon’s Iain Armitage (Sheldon), Lance Barber (George) and Montana Jordan (Georgie) will appear as their spinoff characters.

It’s unclear how the crossover will be worked out considering Young Sheldon takes place almost thirty years prior to the setting of Big Bang. What is clear is that CBS and producer Warner Bros. TV are keeping details under wraps and are letting out zero hints.

Back in August Warner Bros. announced that it will be ending Big Bang, the longest-running multi-camera series in TV history this spring. The statement read:

“We are forever grateful to our fans for their support of The Big Bang Theory during the past 12 seasons. We, along with the cast, writers, and crew, are extremely appreciative of the show’s success and aim to deliver a final season, and the series finale, that will bring The Big Bang Theory to an epic creative close.”
