The Season 4 ensemble of Only Murders in the Building is constantly expanding, and another amazing actor just joined the pack. Zach Galifianakis is heading to The Arconia after being cast in the recurring role in Hulu’s acclaimed murder mystery comedy.
Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building wrapped up with the murder of Sazz Pataki (Jane Lynch), the long-time stunt double of Charles-Haden Savage’s (Steve Martin). Charles will join forces with Mabel (Selena Gomez) and Oliver (Martin Short) to solve her murder, but Season 4 will see them briefly leave The Arconia behind and head to Los Angeles.
Galifianakis joined the cast in the mystery recurring role, but his character will be integral to the Season 4 investigation. He’ll be in pretty good company on the set of this series since the cast also includes Eugene Levy (Schitt’s Creek), Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives), Molly Shannon (The White Lotus), and Kumail Nanjiani (Silicon Valley), plus Meryl Streep returning to her role from Season 3.
Galifianakis is best known as the star of The Hangover franchise, while the list of his TV credits includes Bored to Death and Baskets, plus the Emmy-winning short-form talk show Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis. He’ll next be seen in the black comedy Winner alongside Emilia Jones, Kathryn Newton, and Connie Britton.
