The 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards has found its host.
Zachary Levi (Shazam!) will host the awards ceremony set for Monday, June 17 at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
This year’s show was expanded to include TV categories, and nominees are expected to be announced over the next few weeks.
Levi joins a stellar lineup of previous MTV Movie & TV hosts, which include Tiffany Haddish, Adam Devine, Dwayne Johnson and Kevin Hart, Amy Schumer, Conan O’Brien, Rebel Wilson, Russell Brand, Jason Sudeikis, and Andy Samberg.
While currently starring Shazam!, Levi isn’t new to the superhero genre. His other foray into the realm of superhero features includes Thor: The Dark World. His other credits include The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Chuck.
