After weeks of rumors and speculations surrounding the release of her seventh studio album, Ariana Grande finally made things official. Eternal Sunshine has been confirmed as the title of her next LP, which is scheduled to hit the shelves on March 8.

Grande has dropped many hints about her new album in recent weeks, and this announcement didn’t come as a shocker to her fans. They correctly assumed her next LP would be named after Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, after the music video for her latest single “Yes, And?” featured the coordinates for Montauk, New York, which was a key location in this hit movie starring Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet.

Grande gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Yes, And?” which hit the shelves last Friday. Its Christian Breslauer-directed music video paid homage to Paula Abdul’s “Cold Hearted”, and it saw Grande coming face to face with her harshest critics.

The cover of “Yes, And?”, which features a blurry close-up shot of Grande wearing red lipstick, has been confirmed as the album cover, as well, but she also shared several alternate covers. Eternal Sunshine will be released on March 8 via Republic Records, marking Grande’s first album since the Grammy-nominated Positions from 2020.
