Ariana Grande did a great job teasing her latest album Eternal Sunshine, and she finally shared it with the world. She’s shining as bright as ever on this amazing record, and she teased its release by dropping a music video for her latest single “We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)”.

Grande’s latest music video pays homage to the cult film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, which inspired the title of the whole album. The heartfelt video sees Grande’s character Peaches undergoing a procedure to erase her memories of her ex-boyfriend, played by the Emmy winner Evan Peters.

Grande teased the video on social media before sharing it with the world and gave a special shout-out to her co-star Evan Peters and director Christian Breslauer for making it possible.

“Thank you for creating such a safe space, for holding my hand, and for thoughtfully bringing this entire album to life with this one video. Though we will make many more, this video is the album to me,” the singer wrote on Instagram.

“We Can’t Be Friends (Wait for Your Love)” was released as the second single from Grande’s seventh studio album Eternal Sunshine, which hit the shelves on March 8. The standard edition of this album features 13 tracks, including the chart-topping lead single “Yes, And?”
