“Big” is returning to theaters to celebrate 30th anniversary

Happy anniversary to Big!

Who would have believed that the movie about a boy who wanted to grow up so bad, is turning 30 this year.

The beloved 1988 comedy about 12-year-old Josh Baskin, who, thanks to the magic of Zoltar, is transformed into a 30-year-old man played by Tom Hanks.

Since 30 is a big number, and 2018 marks the film’s 30th anniversary, Turner Classic Movies and 20th Century Fox have decided to celebrate the occasion by bringing the film back to theaters.

Big will return to more than 700 theaters across the US for two days only on July 15 and July 18.

Big earned Hanks the first of his five Oscar nomination for Best Actor.
