The Doom Patrol will appear on “Titans” live-action series

Looks like the Titans are “getting some company” according to executive producer Geoff Johns.

Joining live-action Titans that is kicking off Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment branded direct-to-consumer digital service in 2018 is The Doom Patrol.

Johns, who serves as executive producer for DC’s live-action Teen Titans series, took to social media Thursday to announce that The Titans will be joined by the group of super-powered misfits.

Even though they are relatively unknown, The Doom Patrol has been around for quite a while. Also known as “The World’s Strangest Heroes” the Doom Patrol includes Robotman, Negative Man, and Elasti-Girl, and they are part of the DC arsenal debuting 1963.

Executive producing alongside Johns are Akiva Goldsman, Greg Berlanti, and Sarah Schechter. The Titans sees leading a group of young superheroes, including Starfire and Raven

follows Batman’s first sidekick, Dick Grayson (Brenton Thwaites), as he goes out on his own leading a group of young superheroes including Starfire (Anna Diop), Raven (Teagan Croft), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) with Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly portraying the vigilante duo Hawk and Dove.
