La La Land stars won’t be performing at the Oscars after all. We were truly hoping to see Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling up on the stage, but it’s not happening.
The movie has a total of 14 Oscar nominations, two of them being for the best original song: City of Stars and Audition.
Both tunes were composed and written by Justin Hurwitz, Benj Pasek, and Justin Paul. They will compete against How Far I’ll Go (Moana), Can’t Stop the Feeling (Troll), and The Empty Chair (Jim: The James Foley Story).
