We’ve been all listening to Miley Cyrus’s new single “Flowers” on repeat since it hit the shelves and the latest Billboard Hot 100 chart reflects its overnight success. This girl power anthem easily reached No. 1 in the U.S., becoming Cyrus’s second single to do so.

Following its release on January 12, “Flowers” hit No. 1 during its first full tracking week on the chart with 52.6 million streams, 33.5 million radio airplay audience impressions, and 70,000 units sold. It also reached No. 1 in several other countries, including the UK, where it had the biggest first week for a song since Harry Styles’ “As It Was”.

“Flowers” also broke several Spotify records in its wake, becoming the fastest song to cross 100 million plays, in addition to scoring the biggest week for a song in the platform’s history with over 96 million plays.

“Flowers” is Cyrus’s second single to top the Billboard Hot 100. She previously soared to No. 1 with “Wrecking Ball” in 2013, which reigned over the cart for three weeks. She also scored several more top-five singles, including “The Climb”, “Party in the U.S.A.”, and “We Can’t Stop”.

“Flowers” was released as the lead single from Cyrus’ upcoming studio album Endless Summer Vacation, set to be released on March 10.
