Oscars 2019 Presenters List Revealed

The first round of Oscars 2019 presenters has just been revealed, and the list contains some flashy names like James Bond actor Daniel Craig, Avengers’ star Chris Evans, and singer/actress Jennifer Lopez.

They will be joined by a mix of up-and-coming and established stars including Awkwafina, Tina Fey, Whoopi Goldberg, Brie Larson, Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Amandla Stenberg, Charlize Theron, Tessa Thompson, and Constance Wu. According to The Hollywood Reporter, this is just the beginning, and more presenters for 91st Academy Awards will be announced in the coming weeks.

“The Oscar nominees have generated tremendous worldwide attention through their captivating stories, achievements, and performances,” said Oscar 2019 producers Donna Gigliotti and Glenn Weiss. “We want to give the public an opportunity to once again experience the moments that have moved us all. It is a celebration of our universal love of movies.”

The 91st Academy Awards ceremony will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood on February 24, 2019. After Kevin Hart dropped out as host, this year’s Oscars will most likely be without a host, which didn’t happen since 1989. Instead, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences is reportedly looking into making the cast of Marvel’s Avengers as the main stars of the show.
