Another royal baby is on the way!
Kensington Palace announced on Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex (Prince Harry and Meghan Markle), are expecting a child in the spring. The announcement said that the couple is “delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public”.
The couple tied the knot five months ago in a wedding ceremony held in Windsor Castle, near London. Prince Harry said last year that the couple intended to have a child soon. “Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future,” he told BBC News in November after they had announced their engagement.
Speculation about the Duchess’ pregnancy was first fueled by the buttoned-up outfit she wore on Friday to the wedding of Princess Eugenie.
Their baby will be seventh in line to the throne.
