Old etiquette out, new etiquette in!
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their debut royal engagement for 2018 and looked cuter than ever arriving hand-in-hand.
Their first joint royal engagement was a visit to the studios of Reprezent 107.3 FM—a youth-led radio station that offers broadcasting training in order to support young adults.
The 36-year-old actress looked absolutely gorgeous in Smythe’s $800 Brando camel-colored coat and a sand gray scarf by Sentaler to keep her warm. Markle’s cozy laid-back style shows that she’s willing to somewhat bend traditional royal dress protocol. Once inside, Meghan revealed a casual look of a black wool sweater tucked into a belted black Burberry flared trousers.
Sporting an all-black look is a definite step outside of the royal box as black is a color Royalty almost never wears except for more somber occasions. Her choice to wear trousers is also her way of carving her own royal style.
While this isn’t the couple’s first official royal engagement together since announcing their engagement, it seems that as time passes Markle, the royal-to-be, is saying goodbye to her old life, deleting her social media accounts ahead of her wedding to Prince Harry.
