Owen and Luke Wilson’s father, Robert Wilson, has died aged 75 after battling Alzheimer’s disease, according to ABC News.
The news was originally shared on KERA, the Dallas TV station Robert Wilson ran in the 1960s and ’70s.
Wilson was responsible for bringing “Monty Python’s Flying Circus” to American TV. He also helped launch the TV career of PBS journalist Jim Lehrer. Wilson showed initiative to improve the station’s technology, including switching from film to tape and transitioning from black-and-white to color.
