“Stranger Things” Officially Renewed for Season 3

It’s official! upside-down fans: Stranger Things is coming back for a third season!

Netflix announced that the hit series featuring the residents of Hawkins, Indiana facing an upside down world has been renewed for another season. The confirmation came from the streaming giant on Friday after teasing fans asking them whether they should make another season of the hit series.

Netflix chose to remain silent in regards to any details or confirmation of a new season even though going into season two, the creators revealed there were concrete plans to continue the series with at least two more seasons, for a total for four.

The Duffer Brothers’ series stars Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers, who made quite a comeback, alongside David Harbour as Chief Jim Hopper, Finn Wolfhard as Mike Wheeler, Noah Schnapps as Will Byers, Millie Bobby Brown as Eleven, Caleb McLaughlin as Lucas Sinclair, Gaten Matarazzo as Dustin Henderson, Cara Buono as Karen Wheeler, Natalia Dyer as Nancy Wheeler, Charlie Heaton as Jonathan Byers, Joe Keery as Steve Harrington, Dacre Montgomery as Billy, and Sadie Sink as Max.

Since its debut the show earned 18 Emmy noms and won 5 maintaining a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
