]]>Rolling Stone magazine confirms that Aerosmith, Ludacris and Bruno Mars will be performing at the festival, which runs from January 31st through February 2nd.
The three-night music fest is one of the most anticipated music events in the days leading up to the NFL’s biggest night.
The lineup is definitely varied beginning with hip-hop on display with Ludacris, Migos, Lil Yachty, Lil Baby, Metro Boomin’ and Lil Jon taking the stage on the festival’s first day. February 1 is a rocking kind of day with Aerosmith and Post Malone. The next day will see performances by Bruno Mars and Cardi B.
Some artists have chosen to boycott events related to the Super Bowl, but not Lil Jon who told AJC, “It’s our hometown, we gotta. It’s rare when we’re able to showcase what we love about this city and showcase our city. I think it’s more about the city than it is anything else. The Super Bowl is the Super Bowl, but this is the city we’ve grown up in, we launched our careers in and the city we live in. It’s about showcasing everything we love about our city.”

]]>The 69-year-old Aerosmith singer posted a statement on Twitter over the weekend, following heart attack rumors as the band suddenly called off the remaining dates of South American leg of their AeroVederci tour.
“It breaks my heart to have left this tour early…the band has never played better…just watch the 100,000 people at rock in Rio,” the frontman wrote. “I give you all an A+ for creative speculations, but I certainly did not have a heart attack or a seizure (unless Joe Perry is takin’ a rippin’ lead).”
He went on to explain that he needs to return to the U.S. for medical treament. “Sorry to have cut the tour short but I had to have a procedure that only my doc in the states could perform,” he shared. “We’ve been to Tel Aviv… to Russia… to Rio… and all the in between…I guess it’s true what they say …’That life’s a pisser when eu’re a peein’….”
The band announced last week that it was cancelling shows in Curitiba, Brazil, Santiago, Chile, Rosario, Argentina, and Monterrey, Mexico, according to E! News.
Tyler assured fans at the time, “Please not to worry.”
He added, “I am not in a life threatening condition, but I need to deal with this right away, and get some rest and medical care immediately in order to sustain and maintain my future performances… I promise I’ll be back.”

]]>This cancellation is due to the band’s frontman Steven Tyler’s health issues, for which he is receiving medical care in the U.S.
The band posted an announcement on Tyler’s Facebook page on Tuesday. “Unfortunately, due to unexpected medical issues, lead singer, Steven Tyler, is seeking immediate care and has been advised by his doctors that he cannot travel or perform at this time. The post ends with a positive message for Tyler’s fans reading, “Steven is expected to make a full recovery. With proper rest and treatment he will be back on his feet soon rocking the world.”
The message posted regarding the 69-year-old Grammy winner’s condition, which led to the cancellation did not include any details of his illness. Tyler simply chose to ensure fans saying that he is not in “a life threatening condition,” however he did add that he must get some “rest and medical care immediately in order to sustain and maintain [his] future performances.”
