Bad Bunny, who came into the night as the most nominated act with eight nods, was one of the artists who managed to snag two awards. The list also included Harry Styles, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, Morgan Wallen, and Wizkid.
It was also a big night for Dove Cameron, who managed to beat the likes of Gayle and Latto to win the award for the new artist of the year. Elton John and Dua Lipa won the trophy for collaboration of the year with their hit single “Cold Heart”.
The 50th American Music Awards returned to Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 20, with Wayne Brady hosting the ceremony.

It was also a big night for Doja Cat, who dominated the R&B categories. In addition to winning trophies for favorite female R&B artist and favorite R&B album with Planet Her, she also collected the award for collaboration of the year with “Kiss Me More” featuring SZA.
Megan Thee Stallion was right behind with three awards—favorite female hip-hop artist, favorite hip-hop album with Good News, and favorite trending song with “Body”. Olivia Rodrigo collected the award for the new artist of the year, while Lil Nas X picked up the trophy for the best music video with “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”.

]]>The list of nominations just came out and Cardi B and Drake are leading the way, with eight nominations each.
These two artists are having the most amazing year ever, and it’s impossible to think of a music awards ceremony where they weren’t present.
Cardi B and Drake will go head to head in several categories at the American Music Awards this year, including Video of the Year and Favorite Hip-Hop Artist.
Ed Sheeran and Post Malone are right behind them, with six nominations each. Both artists will be competing against Drake in the main category – Artist of the Year.
They’ll also have a strong competition in Taylor Swift, who received four nominations thanks to her last studio album Reputation.
The ceremony will take place on October 9 and it will be hosted by the Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross.

The American Music Awards will be held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on November 21st, and the list of major contenders includes The Weeknd with six nominations, and Bad Bunny, Doja Cat, and Giveon with five nods.

]]>The list of nominations just came out and Cardi B and Drake are leading the way, with eight nominations each.
These two artists are having the most amazing year ever, and it’s impossible to think of a music awards ceremony where they weren’t present.
Cardi B and Drake will go head to head in several categories at the American Music Awards this year, including Video of the Year and Favorite Hip-Hop Artist.
Ed Sheeran and Post Malone are right behind them, with six nominations each. Both artists will be competing against Drake in the main category – Artist of the Year.
They’ll also have a strong competition in Taylor Swift, who received four nominations thanks to her last studio album Reputation.
The ceremony will take place on October 9 and it will be hosted by the Black-ish star Tracee Ellis Ross.
